Ingredients
- 1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp oil for cooking
- Rice for serving (Jasmine or brown)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Whisk until blended well.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken pieces to the hot pan and cook evenly until golden brown on both sides, about 5-6 minutes.
- Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
- Serve the honey garlic chicken over a bed of boiled rice, garnished with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute rice with cauliflower rice. Marinate the chicken for more flavor.
