Description

A quick and fulfilling dish featuring chicken cooked in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp oil for cooking
  • Rice for serving (Jasmine or brown)


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Whisk until blended well.
  2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add chicken pieces to the hot pan and cook evenly until golden brown on both sides, about 5-6 minutes.
  4. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the chicken. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
  5. Serve the honey garlic chicken over a bed of boiled rice, garnished with sesame seeds or chopped green onions if desired.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute rice with cauliflower rice. Marinate the chicken for more flavor.
