Description
A delicious fusion of sweet honey and savory garlic creating a sticky glaze for tender chicken thighs, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Chopped green onions, for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper. Whisk together to form a marinade.
- Add chicken thighs to the marinade, coating them evenly. Let marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken, discarding excess marinade.
- Cook chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F).
- Reduce heat to low and pour the remaining marinade into the skillet. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve hot, drizzling the sauce over the chicken and garnishing with chopped green onions.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate chicken longer if possible. Serve with rice or potatoes to soak up the sauce.
