Ingredients

  • 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets (skin on or off)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry using paper towels.
  3. Place the fillets on the baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil, seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, melted butter, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  5. Brush half of the glaze over each fillet.
  6. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until salmon flakes easily.
  7. Remove from the oven and brush with remaining glaze.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the salmon in the glaze for 30 minutes before baking. You can also grill the salmon for a smoky twist.
