This casserole brings together ground beef and potatoes in a comforting dish, perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheese (your choice)
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (or a cream alternative)
- 1 medium onion, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, adding onions until tender.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture with cream of mushroom soup.
- Layer half the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish.
- Spread the beef mixture over the potatoes, followed by the remaining potato slices.
- Top with shredded cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes until cheese is bubbling.
Notes
