Description

A quick and hearty air fryer meatloaf with a crispy exterior and juicy interior. Perfect for busy weeknights and family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (gluten-free if needed)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup (plus extra for topping)
  • 1/2 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf that fits comfortably in your air fryer basket.
  4. Spread a thin layer of ketchup over the top of the meatloaf for extra flavor and moisture.
  5. Place the meatloaf in the air fryer and cook for 25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  6. Allow to rest for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

For a lighter option, you can use ground turkey. Letting the meatloaf rest before slicing ensures a juicier result.
