Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (gluten-free if needed)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup (plus extra for topping)
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground meat, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf that fits comfortably in your air fryer basket.
- Spread a thin layer of ketchup over the top of the meatloaf for extra flavor and moisture.
- Place the meatloaf in the air fryer and cook for 25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Allow to rest for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
For a lighter option, you can use ground turkey. Letting the meatloaf rest before slicing ensures a juicier result.
