Ingredients
- 2 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 1 cup of orange juice
- 1/2 cup of soy sauce
- 1/4 cup of honey
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon of cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons of water
- Sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by placing the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken, ensuring it’s well coated.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it on low heat for 4 hours.
- During the last 30 minutes, mix the cornstarch and water in a small bowl, then stir it into the slow cooker to thicken the sauce.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks and stir well before serving.
Notes
For enhanced flavor, marinate the chicken overnight. Serve over rice or noodles for a complete meal.
