Description

A fresh and zesty avocado dip that’s perfect for gatherings and versatile in use.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1-2 tomatoes, chopped (can be cherry or larger varieties)
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1-2 cloves of garlic, minced (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional)
  • Jalapeño, minced (optional for heat)

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the avocados with a fork or a potato masher until you reach your desired consistency—smooth or chunky, it’s up to you!
  3. Stir in the diced onion, chopped tomatoes, lime juice, garlic (if using), and salt.
  4. If you enjoy a bit of spice, add minced jalapeño to the mix.
  5. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  6. Eager to impress? Stir in fresh cilantro for an added layer of flavor.

Notes

For optimal flavor, let your guacamole sit for about 30 minutes before serving. Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface to minimize browning.
