Description

Crispy chicken tenders with a sweet brown sugar and savory beef bacon coating, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken tenders
  • 3 oz beef bacon, chopped
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Toss the chicken tenders in olive oil and then coat them in the sugar mixture.
  4. In a skillet or frying pan, cook the chopped beef bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  5. On a baking sheet or in a skillet, arrange the coated chicken tenders and sprinkle the crispy beef bacon on top.
  6. Bake for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and golden, flipping halfway for even cooking.

Notes

Serve with coleslaw, fries, or in a wrap. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
