Crispy chicken tenders with a sweet brown sugar and savory beef bacon coating, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 3 oz beef bacon, chopped
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) if baking.
- In a mixing bowl, combine brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Toss the chicken tenders in olive oil and then coat them in the sugar mixture.
- In a skillet or frying pan, cook the chopped beef bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside.
- On a baking sheet or in a skillet, arrange the coated chicken tenders and sprinkle the crispy beef bacon on top.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and golden, flipping halfway for even cooking.
Notes
Serve with coleslaw, fries, or in a wrap. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
