Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream (or non-dairy substitute)
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme or parsley
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- 2 teaspoons paprika
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Sear the chicken until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side, then remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Add minced garlic to the same skillet and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and scrape the bottom to deglaze the pan. After a minute, reduce the heat and add the cream.
- Stir in your herbs, then return the chicken to the skillet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
