Description

Ingredients

  • Chicken pieces (thighs or breasts)
  • Flour (for breading)
  • Panko breadcrumbs (for crunch)
  • Hot honey or regular honey with chili flakes added
  • Spices: garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper
  • Eggs (for binding)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In one bowl, mix the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a second bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth.
  4. In a third bowl, place the panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Dip each chicken piece first into the flour mixture, then the egg, and finally coat it with panko breadcrumbs.
  6. Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Drizzle hot honey generously over the chicken before serving.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, marinate the chicken in the spice mix for a few hours or overnight. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
