Description

Irresistibly tender chicken skewers marinated to perfection and grilled to add a delightful contrast of crispy and juicy textures.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized chunks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

  1. Combine olive oil, minced garlic, soy sauce, honey, and red pepper flakes in a large bowl.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill or oven. Soak wooden skewers in water for about 20 minutes if using.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken onto the skewers, leaving space between each piece.
  5. Grill the skewers over medium-high heat for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through.
  6. Remove from the grill, let rest for a few minutes, and garnish with fresh green onions.

Notes

For juicier skewers, consider using chicken thighs. You can also add pineapple or bell peppers between the chicken pieces for variety.
