Ingredients
- 1 lb Chicken breasts (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 1/2 cup Cornstarch
- 1/4 cup Vegetable oil (for frying)
- 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 inch Ginger (freshly grated)
- 3 Green onions (sliced)
- 1/2 cup Sweet chili sauce
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp Sesame oil
- Optional: crushed peanuts (for garnish)
Instructions
- Start by coating chicken pieces thoroughly in cornstarch, ensuring an even layer.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry the chicken pieces until they are golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Add in the sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil, stirring to combine.
- Toss in the fried chicken until it’s well-coated.
- Serve warm, garnished with green onions and crushed peanuts.
