Description

A quick and savory stir-fry dish featuring tender beef, colorful vegetables, and flavorful noodles.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz egg noodles
  • 8 oz beef, sliced thinly (flank or sirloin)
  • 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
  2. In a large pan or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced beef to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and stir-fry until browned (about 3-4 minutes).
  4. Toss in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the bell peppers and broccoli, stir-frying until they are tender yet crisp (approximately 3-4 minutes).
  6. Introduce the cooked noodles, soy sauce, oyster sauce if using, and sesame oil. Stir until everything is combined and heated through.
  7. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.

Notes

For maximum flavor, let the beef marinate in soy sauce and a dash of ginger for about 15 minutes before cooking. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
