Description

Quick and satisfying air fryer salmon with crispy edges and tender inside, perfect for weeknight dinners or special brunches.

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon filets (6 oz each, skin on or skin off)
  • 1 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika (regular or smoked)
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt (or any coarse salt)
  • Lemon slices, for serving
  • Fresh dill or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Brush the tops of your salmon filets with melted butter.
  2. In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle this mixture over the salmon filets.
  3. Line the bottom of your air fryer basket with aluminum foil and spritz with cooking spray.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place the salmon skin-side down on the foil in the basket.
  6. Set the air fryer to the “air fry” setting at 390°F (200°C) and cook for 10 minutes.
  7. Check for doneness; the internal temperature should be 145°F (63°C).
  8. Serve warm with fresh lemon wedges and enjoy!

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the salmon for 30 minutes to an hour. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer to achieve the best crispy texture.
