Description

A delightful quiche combining savory beef bacon, rich cheddar cheese, and a flaky crust, perfect for brunches and cozy dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup beef bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: herbs like chives or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pie crust in a pie dish and pre-bake for 10 minutes until slightly golden.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper until frothy.
  4. Evenly distribute the beef bacon and cheddar cheese in the pre-baked crust.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the beef bacon and cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the filling is set and the top is lightly browned.
  7. Allow it to cool slightly before slicing.

Notes

For a lighter dish, substitute half the heavy cream with whole milk. Experiment with different cheeses or add sautéed vegetables for extra flavor.
