Description

A succulent chicken dish with a spicy, tangy sauce that’s perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of chicken breasts
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs (or gluten-free alternative)
  • 1 cup of buttermilk
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup of mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons of sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of Sriracha (adjust for heat)
  • Green onions for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then dip it into the buttermilk, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  3. Roll the coated chicken in breadcrumbs until evenly covered.
  4. Place the chicken on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until cooked through and golden brown.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha to create the sauce.
  6. Once the chicken is done, drizzle the sauce over the top.
  7. Serve garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For a crunchier texture, try broiling the chicken for the last few minutes of baking. You can also substitute chicken thighs for juicier meat.
