Ingredients
- 1 bag frozen tater tots
- 1 lb cooked ground beef
- 6 eggs
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite blend)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup chopped vegetables (like bell peppers and onions)
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, eggs, milk, and seasonings.
- Grease a baking dish and add a layer of tater tots to the bottom.
- Pour the meat mixture over the tater tots, followed by a generous layer of cheese.
- Top with the remaining tater tots and finish with more cheese.
- Bake for about 45 minutes, or until the casserole is set and the top is golden brown.
Notes
For added crunch, consider layering additional tater tots during the last 10 minutes of baking. This casserole can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight before baking.
