Description

A juicy, flavorful sandwich that combines tender chicken with creamy avocado, perfect for lunch or light dinner.


Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
  • 1 ripe avocado, mashed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 4 slices of sandwich bread (whole grain or sourdough)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: garlic powder, lime juice, and fresh herbs for added flavor


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the shredded chicken with salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings like garlic powder.
  2. Mash the avocado in another bowl and add a squeeze of lime juice for brightness.
  3. Spread the mashed avocado onto two slices of bread, then layer on the seasoned chicken.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheese generously over the chicken.
  5. Top with the remaining slices of bread and heat a skillet over medium heat.
  6. Cook the sandwiches for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from the skillet, slice, and enjoy!
