Description

A comforting slow cooker peach cobbler with a buttery, crumbly topping, perfect for gatherings or cozy family dinners.

Ingredients

  • Fresh peaches, sliced (about 6 cups)
  • Granulated sugar (1 cup)
  • Cinnamon (1 teaspoon)
  • Lemon juice (1 tablespoon)
  • All-purpose flour (1 cup)
  • Rolled oats (1 cup)
  • Brown sugar (1/2 cup)
  • Baking powder (1 teaspoon)
  • Unsalted butter, melted (1/2 cup)
  • Milk (1/2 cup)
  • Vanilla extract (1 teaspoon)
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Begin by washing and slicing the peaches. In a large bowl, toss them with granulated sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice until evenly coated. Let them sit for about 10 minutes to allow the juices to develop.
  2. Combine the flour, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Stir in the melted butter, milk, and vanilla until just mixed.
  3. Layer the peaches in the bottom of the slow cooker, followed by spreading the topping evenly over the fruit.
  4. Cover and cook on low for about 240 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and set.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy the comforting flavors!

Notes

Best served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of caramel sauce. Can store in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
