Description

A nourishing twist on the classic burger, this bowl combines seasoned beef with fresh toppings for a lighter meal that’s full of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 cups fresh greens (spinach, romaine, or mixed greens)
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite cheese)
  • Pickles, for garnish
  • Dressing (ranch, thousand island, or your choice)

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it into crumbles until fully cooked.
  2. Drain excess fat if necessary, then season with salt, pepper, and any preferred spices.
  3. While the beef cooks, prepare a large bowl with greens as the base.
  4. Layer on the tomatoes, cucumber, onion, cheese, and pickles when the beef is ready.
  5. Drizzle your preferred dressing over the top before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding crispy beef bacon or a dollop of guacamole. Pair with sweet potato fries or a light corn salad for a complete meal.
