Description

A delightful cake blending rich cookie butter flavors into a moist and tender dessert, perfect for celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup cookie butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and cookie butter until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Stir in the buttermilk and vanilla extract until thoroughly combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a fluffier texture, use room temperature butter and avoid over-mixing the batter.
