Description

A delightful Biscoff cake that combines rich flavors and textures, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup Biscoff spread
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the Biscoff spread and mix until well incorporated.
  4. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with buttermilk.
  7. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  8. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, consider using plant-based butter and dairy-free yogurt instead of buttermilk. Toasting the cake layers before frosting can enhance the flavor.
