Description

Juicy chicken breasts stuffed with a delightful blend of broccoli and cheddar cheese, perfect for impressing guests.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets (steamed)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Toothpicks for securing

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine the steamed broccoli, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Take each chicken breast and make a pocket. Gently slice into the side, ensuring not to cut through completely.
  4. Stuff each pocket with the broccoli mixture, securing it with toothpicks if needed.
  5. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear each stuffed chicken breast for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
  7. Remove toothpicks before serving, and enjoy!

Notes

To make the stuffing easier, use a paring knife for precision. For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the stuffing.
