Description
Juicy chicken breasts stuffed with a delightful blend of broccoli and cheddar cheese, perfect for impressing guests.
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets (steamed)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for cooking
- Toothpicks for securing
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine the steamed broccoli, cheddar cheese, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Take each chicken breast and make a pocket. Gently slice into the side, ensuring not to cut through completely.
- Stuff each pocket with the broccoli mixture, securing it with toothpicks if needed.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear each stuffed chicken breast for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F or 74°C).
- Remove toothpicks before serving, and enjoy!
Notes
To make the stuffing easier, use a paring knife for precision. For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the stuffing.
