Description

These sweet and spicy chicken wings are perfect for any gathering, combining brown sugar and Cajun seasoning for a flavor explosion.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Optional: chopped green onions for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix brown sugar, Cajun seasoning, olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Arrange the wings in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for about 30 minutes, then flip the wings and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until crispy and caramelized.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving, if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the wings in the spice mixture for a few hours or overnight. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing and celery sticks for a complete meal.
