Description

Deliciously caramelized brown sugar pork chops, perfect for weeknight dinners or family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 bone-in pork chops
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  2. Generously rub the spice mixture over both sides of each pork chop.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Carefully add the pork chops to the skillet, cooking for about 5 to 7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and reaching an internal temperature of 145°F.
  5. Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve over mashed potatoes or rice, and pair with grilled asparagus or a green salad.
