Description
Deliciously caramelized brown sugar pork chops, perfect for weeknight dinners or family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 4 bone-in pork chops
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
- Generously rub the spice mixture over both sides of each pork chop.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Carefully add the pork chops to the skillet, cooking for about 5 to 7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and reaching an internal temperature of 145°F.
- Remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve over mashed potatoes or rice, and pair with grilled asparagus or a green salad.
