Description

Indulge in the rich taste of brownie batter with these healthy protein balls, perfect for a post-workout treat or afternoon cravings.

Ingredients

  • 1¼ cups almond flour (or substitute with oat flour)
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • ¾ cup almond butter
  • ½ cup chocolate protein powder
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup almond milk
  • ¼ cup chocolate chunks or chips
  • ¼ teaspoon instant coffee (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a tray with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, cocoa powder, protein powder, almond butter, and maple syrup.
  3. Add the almond milk and instant coffee, mixing until a cohesive dough forms.
  4. Gently fold in the chocolate chunks until evenly distributed.
  5. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, portion out the mixture and roll into balls.
  6. Place the balls on the tray and freeze for 15 minutes to set.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze for longer storage. Consider rolling the balls in crushed nuts or coconut for added flavor.
