Description

A mouthwatering combination of sweet and spicy, ideal for both casual weeknight dinners and special gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the honey and Cajun seasoning until well combined.
  2. Season the salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon fillets, cooking them for about 4-5 minutes on each side until they turn opaque and flaky.
  4. During the last minute of cooking, pour the honey butter mixture over the salmon, allowing the flavors to meld.
  5. Serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges.

Notes

Let the salmon fillets rest at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before cooking for even cooking. Adjust Cajun seasoning based on spice preference.
