Description

Cajun flavors meet comforting pasta in this delightful dish featuring seasoned steak tips and creamy rigatoni.

Ingredients

  • Steak tips (sirloin or ribeye)
  • Cajun seasoning (store-bought or homemade)
  • Olive oil
  • Rigatoni pasta
  • Heavy cream
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add steak tips and season with Cajun seasoning. Cook until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for a minute. Then, pour in the heavy cream.
  4. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Add the cooked rigatoni to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce.
  6. Return the steak tips to the skillet and mix until everything is heated through.

Notes

For fewer calories, consider using half-and-half instead of heavy cream for the sauce. Let steak tips marinate in Cajun seasoning for 30 minutes for optimal flavor.
