Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: diced tomatoes or pickles for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, cook the diced onion until translucent, then add the ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, milk, and eggs until smooth.
- Stir in the cooked beef and onion mix, then fold in the shredded cheese.
- Pour the mixture into a greased pie dish. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is firm and golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before slicing.
Notes
