Description

A quick and delicious meal featuring savory ground beef, creamy nacho cheese, and a satisfying crunch from Doritos, perfect for weeknight dinners or lunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup nacho cheese sauce
  • 1 can Rotel tomatoes, drained
  • ⅓ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup chopped bell peppers
  • ½ cup chopped onions
  • Shredded lettuce, as needed
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • Crumbled nacho cheese Doritos, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess grease.
  2. Stir the taco seasoning into the cooked beef, ensuring it’s evenly mixed, and then set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the chopped onions and bell peppers. Sauté over medium heat until softened, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the nacho cheese sauce and drained Rotel tomatoes, stirring until blended.
  5. On a clean surface, lay the flour tortillas flat. Spread a generous layer of the nacho cheese mixture in the center of each tortilla.
  6. Layer each tortilla with a dollop of sour cream, sautéed onions and bell peppers, seasoned ground beef, shredded lettuce, and top with crumbled Doritos.
  7. Carefully fold the sides of each tortilla inward and roll tightly to create burrito-style wraps.
  8. Return the skillet to medium heat and toast each wrap, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crisp on all sides.
  9. Cut the wraps in half, if desired, and serve immediately while warm.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute ground beef with black beans or lentils. Serve with salsa or guacamole for added flavor.
