Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked orzo
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the diced chicken, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and cook until browned.
  2. Add the broccoli florets and sauté for a few minutes until vibrant and tender.
  3. Stir in the cooked orzo, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Mix well until combined and heated through.
  4. Remove from heat and fold in the shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
  5. Taste, adjusting seasoning if needed, and serve warm.

Notes

For maximum flavor, marinate the chicken beforehand. Leftovers are great and can be stored in the refrigerator or frozen for later use.
