Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or cubed
- 1 cup cooked rice (white or brown)
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)
- ½ cup sour cream
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (optional)
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup breadcrumbs for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, rice, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, garlic powder, and any frozen vegetables you choose to include.
- Season with salt and pepper, stirring until everything is well mixed.
- Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese on top, followed by breadcrumbs if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until hot and bubbly, and the top is lightly browned.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
