Description

A delightful cheesy pasta dish loaded with tender chicken, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups pasta (any shape)
  • 1 pound chicken breast, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • Optional: chives or parsley for garnish


Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add cubed chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and let simmer for a few minutes to meld flavors.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Gradually add the shredded cheese, stirring until melted and creamy.
  7. Combine the cooked pasta with the chicken and cheese sauce, mixing well to coat.
  8. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot.

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, it freezes well for up to 2 months. When reheating, try adding a splash of milk or broth to bring back the creamy texture.
