Ingredients
- 1 cup crabmeat, drained and flaked
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 package of crackers or bread slices for serving
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine the crabmeat, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Mix until fully blended.
- Spread the crab mixture generously onto your choice of crackers or bread slices.
- Arrange the canapes on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- After removing them from the oven, let them cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute Greek yogurt for mayonnaise. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
