Description

Delicious and quick Cheesy Ham Roll Ups, perfect for appetizers or snacks at gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices of ham
  • 4 ounces of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup grated cheese (cheddar or your favorite type)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped chives or green onions
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, grated cheese, chives, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper. Stir until everything is well blended.
  2. Lay out the slices of ham on a flat surface.
  3. Spread a generous layer of the cheese mixture over each slice of ham.
  4. Starting from one end, roll the ham tightly around the cheese.
  5. If needed, secure each roll with toothpicks to hold them in place.
  6. Chill the completed roll ups in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
  7. Once chilled, slice them into bite-sized pieces and serve them as a delightful appetizer.

Notes

For a lighter option, use turkey or chicken slices in place of ham, and Greek yogurt can substitute for cream cheese.
