Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 cups cooked rice or pasta
- 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Fresh herbs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced onions and bell peppers to the skillet, cooking until softened.
- Stir in the cooked rice or pasta and cream of mushroom soup. Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. This casserole can be assembled ahead of time and baked later.
