Description

A comforting and cheesy pasta dish made with simple ingredients, perfect for busy weeknights and family gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cups pasta (elbow macaroni or similar)
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: vegetables like bell peppers or peas

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Once it’s nearly browned, add the chopped onion and cook until softened.
  2. Stir in the pasta, beef broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat to low and cover the skillet. Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the pasta is tender and has absorbed most of the broth.
  4. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded cheese until melted and creamy.

Notes

Serve with a garden salad or garlic bread, and consider adding roasted vegetables for extra crunch.
