Description
A comforting and cheesy pasta dish made with simple ingredients, perfect for busy weeknights and family gatherings.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cups pasta (elbow macaroni or similar)
- 3 cups beef broth
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your choice)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: vegetables like bell peppers or peas
Instructions
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks. Once it’s nearly browned, add the chopped onion and cook until softened.
- Stir in the pasta, beef broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Reduce heat to low and cover the skillet. Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes, or until the pasta is tender and has absorbed most of the broth.
- Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the shredded cheese until melted and creamy.
Notes
Serve with a garden salad or garlic bread, and consider adding roasted vegetables for extra crunch.
