Description
Delightful potato foil packs bursting with cheesy goodness and seasoned with ranch, perfect for family gatherings or camping trips.
Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds baby potatoes, halved
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven or grill to 425°F (220°C).
- Combine halved baby potatoes, olive oil, ranch seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Toss until well-coated.
- Tear off large sheets of aluminum foil and create a pouch for each serving. Place a generous portion of the potato mixture in the center of each sheet.
- Fold the foil over the potatoes, sealing the packets tightly to ensure no steam escapes.
- Place the foil packs on the grill or in the oven. Cook for about 25 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.
- Carefully open the packets and sprinkle cheese on top. Reseal the foil and allow the cheese to melt for an additional 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
For perfectly cooked potatoes, cut them into uniform sizes. If you prefer crispier potatoes, open the foil packs in the last few minutes of cooking.
