Description

Tender chicken enveloped in a rich Boursin cheese sauce, perfect for impressing guests or enjoying a cozy family meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
  • 1 package Boursin cheese (garlic and herbs flavor recommended)
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (such as parsley or chives)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, then add the chicken.
  3. Sauté the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in the Boursin cheese, mixing until smooth and creamy.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the sauce.
  8. Let it simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs.

Notes

For a vegetarian alternative, swap chicken broth for vegetable broth. This dish pairs well with steamed vegetables, rice, or pasta.
