Description

A delightful twist on a classic Caesar salad, this Chicken Caesar Flatbread combines tender grilled chicken, crisp romaine, and creamy dressing all wrapped in warm flatbread, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 flatbreads or pita bread
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups chopped romaine lettuce
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat. While it’s heating, season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Lightly coat the chicken with olive oil, then grill for about 6-7 minutes on each side or until cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F.
  3. Once cooked, let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
  4. While the chicken rests, warm the flatbreads on the grill for about 1-2 minutes on each side until slightly crispy.
  5. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped romaine with Caesar dressing, tossing until well coated.
  6. To assemble, place the sliced chicken onto the warm flatbread, top with the dressed romaine, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Use a meat thermometer for perfectly grilled chicken.
