Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 head of romaine lettuce
- 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, shaved or grated
- 1 cup croutons
- 4 sandwich buns (ciabatta or whole wheat)
Instructions
- Cook the chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Cook in a skillet over medium heat until no longer pink, about 6-7 minutes per side. Let it rest before slicing.
- Prepare the lettuce: Wash and dry the romaine lettuce thoroughly. Chop it into bite-sized pieces.
- Assemble the sandwich: On the bottom half of each bun, layer sliced chicken, a generous drizzle of Caesar dressing, followed by the romaine lettuce, and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. Add croutons for extra crunch.
- Top and serve: Place the top half of the buns on each sandwich and serve immediately.
Notes
Store leftovers tightly wrapped in plastic wrap or aluminum foil in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Best when reheated without lettuce and croutons.
