Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 4 slices of ham (or turkey)
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1 cup of flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray or oil for baking
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare the Chicken: Slice the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble the Bites: Place a small piece of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on each piece of chicken. Roll them tightly and secure with a toothpick.
- Dredging Station: Set up three bowls – one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and the last with breadcrumbs.
- Coat the Rolls: Dip each chicken roll first in flour, then in the egg, and finally in breadcrumbs, ensuring an even coat.
- Bake: Place the coated bites on a greased baking sheet and spray the tops lightly with cooking spray. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
