A vibrant fusion of tender chicken, colorful vegetables, and chewy noodles tossed in a savory sauce.
Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken, sliced thinly
- 8 oz lo mein noodles (or another noodle of choice)
- 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Toss in garlic and mixed vegetables, stirring for another 3-4 minutes until tender.
- Combine the noodles with the chicken and vegetables, then drizzle with soy and oyster sauce, mixing well.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.
Notes
You can easily substitute the chicken with shrimp or tofu for a different protein option. For optimal flavor, marinate the chicken in soy sauce for about 30 minutes before cooking.
