Description

A vibrant fusion of tender chicken, colorful vegetables, and chewy noodles tossed in a savory sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken, sliced thinly
  • 8 oz lo mein noodles (or another noodle of choice)
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Toss in garlic and mixed vegetables, stirring for another 3-4 minutes until tender.
  5. Combine the noodles with the chicken and vegetables, then drizzle with soy and oyster sauce, mixing well.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot.

Notes

You can easily substitute the chicken with shrimp or tofu for a different protein option. For optimal flavor, marinate the chicken in soy sauce for about 30 minutes before cooking.
