Description

Delightful chicken street tacos perfect for any gathering, packed with bold flavors and fresh toppings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Corn or flour tortillas
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Red onion, diced
  • Avocado, sliced
  • Salsa of your choice


Instructions

  1. Prepare a marinade with olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  2. Coat the chicken thighs in the marinade and let rest for about 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side until fully cooked (165°F internal temperature).
  4. Remove the chicken from heat and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Warm the tortillas on the grill or in a pan for a few seconds on each side.
  6. Assemble the tacos by filling each tortilla with chicken, then topping with cilantro, red onion, avocado, and your favorite salsa.

Notes
