Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup lime juice (freshly squeezed)
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together lime juice, chili powder, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat (about 375°F).
- Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting excess drip off.
- Grill for 6-8 minutes per side or bake for 20-25 minutes, until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Remove from heat, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve.
