Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (plain or Italian seasoned)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2-3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until just combined; avoid over-mixing to keep the meatballs tender.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Notes
Consider using day-old bread for the breadcrumbs to enhance texture. For extra moisture, a splash of milk can be added to the beef mixture.
