A perfectly seasoned hamburger that’s versatile for any meal, from BBQs to family dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 4 burger buns (brioche, whole wheat, or classic)
- 4 cheese slices (cheddar or American)
- 1 cup lettuce (romaine or iceberg)
- 1 tomato (fresh, sliced)
- 1 onion (red or white, sliced)
- Pickles (optional)
- Mustard, ketchup, and mayonnaise (for condiments)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef with salt and pepper. Form into patties, making a small indent in the center.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook each patty for about 4-5 minutes on one side, flip, then add cheese if desired. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes.
- Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster.
- Stack the cooked patties on the bottom half of the buns, followed by lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. Spread condiments on the top half and close the burgers.
- Serve hot while everything is fresh and flavorful.
Notes
