Description

A delightful Japanese sandwich featuring fluffy eggs, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 Eggs
  • 3 tablespoons Mayonnaise
  • 4 slices Soft white bread
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Optional: a pinch of Sugar


Instructions

  1. Boil the eggs in water for about 10 minutes. Once cooked, cool them in cold water.
  2. Peel the eggs and mash them in a bowl.
  3. Mix in mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and a pinch of sugar if using.
  4. Spread the mixture onto two slices of bread.
  5. Top with the remaining bread slices and press down gently.
  6. Trim the edges if desired, then slice in half or quarters.

Notes

Serve with a side of pickles or salad, and pair with miso soup for a complete meal.
