  • 1 lb Ground Beef (80-85% Lean)
  • 1 medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 2 large Eggs
  • ¾ cup Milk
  • ¾ cup Breadcrumbs, preferably Panko
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1½ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • ¼ cup Ketchup
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 tbsp White Vinegar
  • ½ tsp Garlic Powder
  • ½ tsp Onion Powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, eggs, milk, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Sprinkle in salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and brown sugar. Mix until just combined—avoid overmixing.
  4. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a lightly greased baking dish.
  5. Spread the ketchup over the top of the meatloaf, ensuring an even layer.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through (internal temperature should reach 160°F or 71°C).
  7. Once done, remove from the oven and allow it to rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
