Ingredients
- 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheese (such as cheddar or Swiss)
- 1 cup cooked beef bacon, chopped
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Optional: fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Place the pie crust in a pie dish and pre-bake for about 10 minutes, until slightly golden.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk.
- Stir in the cheese, beef bacon, onions, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the pre-baked crust.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set and lightly golden on top.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
For added flavor, sauté the onions before adding them to the egg mixture. Let the quiche rest for a few minutes after baking for easier slicing.
